A Breakdown of the 8-4-4 Education System
The 8-4-4 system in Kenya is designed to provide a holistic education through a structured curriculum. It includes eight years of primary education, four years of secondary education, and four years of university education. The system is divided into five clusters for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, ensuring students receive a well-rounded education.
